| General description【一般描述】 | Cluster of differentiation 163 (CD163) is a hemoglobin scavenger receptor, encoded by a gene mapped to human chromosome 12p13.31. It is expressed on the surface of activated macrophages. The encoded protein is a member of scavenger receptor cysteine-rich family (SRCR) and is specifically expressed on cells of the monocyte/macrophage lineage. |
