Gentiopicroside protects chondrocytes from IL-1β-induced inflammation response. Gentiopicroside possesses analgesic, anti proliferative, wound healing and antioxidant properties (free radical scavenging activity). Gentiopicroside shows low oral bioavailability, hence it establishes its therapeutic action after metabolism. |
