| Biochem/physiol Actions【生化/生理作用】 | Sphinganine (SPA) acts as a selective inhibitor of protein kinase C in intact human neutrophils. It may function a potential biomarker for the diagnosis of sphingolipidoses. SPA accumulation enables fumonisin B1 to stimulate apoptosis. It also has an ability to block cholesterol transport in Niemann-Pick Type C (NPC) disease. |
